1. Your link library and tab label setting are stored in setshow.dat, setsys.dat, settab.dat file. 2. Your watchlist symbols are stored in watch.dat file. 3. Your personal trading notes is in NOTE.txt file. 4. Your Signal Chart strategy is stored in Signal/xxx.SIG, where xxx is the strategy file name. 5. Depending on what you want to share, simply copy the above files to your friend. 1. This means you already have the file, and it is being used or write protected, so copy failed. 2. You can simply choose the "Ignore" option, because the file is already on you PC. 1. Click [Start] then go to [Control Panel] and then double click [Regional and Language Options] 2. In the Regional Options tab, change the language to "English (United States)" 1. There are two possible reasons, one is the webpage itself have an JAVA error, this error is not caused by Stock Analyzer software, the website admin has to fix it, you can do nothing about it. 2. The other is caused by killing of popup windows. The web page you open must want to create popup a window, and communicate between the main and popup window. If this popup window cannot be created, the communication will then fail, and you will get a JAVA error. To fix this, simply uncheck the toolbar [kill popup] box. 1. Your setting is stored in setsys.dat, setshow.dat, settab.dat and watch.dat files. 2. The setting cannot be saved if any one of above file is Read-Only. To change this option, you can use windows explorer's right-mouse menu, select properties, then uncheck Read-Only option. Similar to previous item, make sure your watch.dat file is not Read-Only. 1. System default is to obtain market activity from Yahoo, you can retrieve data from other site. 2. Click [Setup] --> Select [Misc URLs] tab --> type URL in appropriate box. Click [Setup] button --> Select [Education] tab --> Type "More Chart" in the text box. Click [Setup] --> Select [Charts] --> Select "BigChart" from button #2's dropdown list box. Select one watchlist as input-1, select another watchlist as input-2. 3. Select "And" operation, the text box will show common stocks in input-1 and input-2. 4. Select a watchlist to save to, click on [Save to Watchlist] Button. 1. Stocks in market-map are stored in @File@--MarketMap watchlist file. 2. You can use [Read Web] or [+/-] button to define stocks in this watchlist file. 1. Click toolbar [Read Web] button, a new screen will pop up. 2. Right mouse click on any symbol link in the main browser window. 3. System will automatically read all symbols from web page and save to watchlist. 1. Shows a chart in main browser window, it can be any graphic format or even java chart. 2. Click [Chart Analyzer], the system automatically captures the chart and makes it ready for editing. You can then use tools to perform various analyses, e.g. support, resistance... 3. If you don't like the system-captured chart, you can clear (new) it, then paste your own. 1. Click [Read Web] button, use right mouse click to get symbols, uncheck the "Delete symbols in this watchlist before add new ones" box, then click [Save] to add those symbols to watchlist. 2. You then navigate to next page, and repeat to add more symbols till all pages are processed. |
